Art description

ENG version bellow

________________ ENG version bellow

Leo Rotko finds a balance of still lifes. Rotko is humble enough in front of the object while preferring the torment and the exuberance of his inner vision to the ordering that asserts the thing seen.
The fiery impetus of the key weighs down the volumes by affirming them. All the frozen objects seem animated.
Leon Rotko always seeks to find his fullness and harmony in the colors transcribed in these paintings landscapes and still lifes.
With him is always the brushstroke that shapes the form, it is the violent contrasts light shadow, dark black and blue, red that makes the volumes stand out.
The landscape is for Rotko the opportunity to express a psychological state much more than the solution of space and color. These landscapes express more contrasts and movements and are woven with subtle play of light.
