Art description

REIN TAMMIK

Rein Tammik was selected by Ants Juske, famous art critic and writer, as best artist painter in Estonia in 1990.

Rein Tammik is the symbol of the vitality of Estonian art, and particularly of hyperrealist of Soviet art, then since his installation in France of a hyper emotionalism, an artistic language determined by the observation of light effects, applying to render the unique phenomenon seen in a given place and time.

His works since 1991 are much sought after by French and German, English museums because they were influenced by modern French painters such as Monet, Renoir and he subsequently freed himself from the Soviet imprint.

Rein Tammik is one of the few Estonian painters to have successfully undergone international auctions and records prices in France, Germany and England.

Kunstniku jaoks märgistab seda perioodi teise maailma avastamine. REIN TAMMIK maalid liikusid hüpperealismist ja sotsialistlikust realismist neoemotsionismi, mida on juurutanud sellised suured prantsuse maalikunstnikud, nagu Monet. See periood on vaieldamatult sotsialistlikust realismist vabanenud Eesti üks kõige väljendusrikkamaid perioode. Aastatel 1990-1993 loob Rein Tammik oma kõige iseloomulikumad, erakordse kvaliteediga maalid, mida teadlikud kunstikogujad enim ihaldavad ja hindavad.
